Arrive in Bangalore. Our driver picks you up and starts the journey to Coorg. Enjoy green views and small villages along the way. Reach Coorg by evening. Check in at the hotel. Relax and enjoy the cool weather. You can walk near the hotel or rest for the night.
Start your day with a hot breakfast. Visit the famous Abbey Falls first. The water falls between coffee plantations and looks lovely. Next, head to Raja’s Seat, a garden with a beautiful valley view. Visit Omkareshwara Temple, known for its simple design. After lunch, go to Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can see elephants up close. Learn how they live, eat, and bathe. End your day by visiting local markets. Buy coffee, spices, and handmade chocolates.
After breakfast, leave for Mysore. On the way, visit Bylekuppe Tibetan Monastery, one of the largest in India. Reach Mysore by afternoon. Check in at the hotel. After a short break, visit the famous Mysore Palace. Its lights and architecture look grand. In the evening, go to Brindavan Gardens. The garden has a musical fountain show that kids love.
Eat a filling breakfast. Visit Chamundi Hills to see the temple of Goddess Chamundeshwari. Get a full view of Mysore from the top. Later, stop by St. Philomena’s Church. After lunch, drive to Ooty. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Bandipur forest area. If lucky, you may spot deer or elephants. Reach Ooty by evening. Check in and relax.
After breakfast, start your Ooty tour. First, visit Ooty Botanical Garden. See many kinds of flowers and plants. Next, head to Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in Ooty. Take pictures and enjoy the view. Later, visit Ooty Lake. You can enjoy boating or just walk around. After lunch, explore the Rose Garden and visit the Tea Museum to learn how tea is made. In the evening, shop for homemade chocolates, wool clothes, and spices.
Today, take a short trip to Coonoor. You can ride the famous toy train (if running). In Coonoor, visit Sim’s Park, a well-kept garden. Then head to Lamb’s Rock and Dolphin’s Nose, two points with great views. Later, return to Ooty. Spend your evening at leisure. Rest or explore local cafes.
