Travel at your own pace with a private car and driver. This tour offers comfort, ease, and unforgettable memories in two of India’s top cities.
Your journey starts in Delhi. The driver picks you up from the airport, railway station, or your hotel. After a quick introduction, you start exploring the capital. Your first stop is India Gate, a war memorial built in honor of Indian soldiers. Next, you drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House for some great photos. Then, you visit Humayun’s Tomb, a beautiful example of Mughal architecture. After that, head to Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world. Don’t forget to see the Iron Pillar nearby, which never rusts!
Later, you enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you explore Lotus Temple and Raj Ghat, the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In the evening, visit Red Fort (from outside if it’s closed) and enjoy shopping at Connaught Place or Janpath Market. Return to your hotel and rest for the night.
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Then, start your drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. This road is smooth and fast, offering scenic views along the way. You reach Agra by late morning. Head straight to visit the Agra Fort, a red sandstone fort with many palaces and gardens. From here, you get a distant view of the Taj Mahal.
After the fort, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and try Agra’s famous dishes like Mughlai curry and stuffed parathas. In the evening, visit Mehtab Bagh, a garden complex on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River. From here, you see the Taj Mahal during sunset, and the view is truly magical. Check in to your hotel and relax.
Start your day early. Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise when it looks golden and peaceful. This is the best time to take pictures and enjoy the calm beauty of the white marble monument. Walk around and learn about the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.
After your visit, return to the hotel for breakfast. Then, check out from the hotel and begin your drive back to Delhi. If time allows, you can stop at Sikandra, the tomb of Akbar the Great, on your way back. You reach Delhi by evening. The driver drops you off at the airport, railway station, or your hotel. Your tour ends with sweet memories of Delhi and Agra.
