This 4-day tour takes you to three famous cities of North India – Delhi, Mathura, and Agra. Start your journey from the historic capital city, Delhi. Explore old monuments, bustling markets, and beautiful temples. Visit Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and enjoy a peaceful spiritual vibe. Then travel to Agra to see the stunning Taj Mahal and other Mughal wonders. This tour is perfect for history lovers, culture seekers, and first-time travelers to India.
Arrive in Delhi by train or flight. Your driver will pick you up from the station or airport and take you to your hotel. Freshen up and get ready to explore the capital.
Start your Delhi tour with a visit to the grand Red Fort, a UNESCO site. Walk through its red sandstone walls and enjoy the royal vibes. Next, visit Jama Masjid, one of the biggest mosques in India. Take a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the famous old market filled with spice shops, sweets, and street food.
Head to Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Then drive past India Gate, President House, and Parliament House for some quick photo stops. End your day with a visit to the Lotus Temple - a peaceful place with unique flower-shaped architecture. Return to your hotel and relax.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Mathura (around 3 hours). This holy city is known as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Reach Mathura and check in at your hotel. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the exact place where Lord Krishna was born.
Then walk around the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the most famous temples in the city. Take a peaceful boat ride at Vishram Ghat on the Yamuna River. This is where Lord Krishna rested after killing Kansa. In the evening, attend the Aarti ceremony and feel the spiritual energy. You can also visit Gita Mandir and Birla Mandir if time allows.
Check out after breakfast and drive to Agra (around 1.5 hours). Once you reach, visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, a white marble wonder built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz. Spend time walking in the gardens and taking photos. After that, head to Agra Fort, a grand red stone fort where Mughal kings lived. Walk through its halls, courtyards, and balconies with beautiful views of the Yamuna River.
Later, visit Mehtab Bagh, a garden behind the Taj Mahal. It’s a perfect place to watch the sunset and see the Taj from across the river. You can explore local markets in Agra in the evening. Try marble souvenirs, local sweets like petha, and handmade crafts.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Drive back to Delhi (around 3.5 to 4 hours). Your driver will drop you at the airport, railway station, or your preferred location in Delhi. Your tour ends here with sweet memories of Delhi, Mathura, and Agra.
