Next, visit Thingalur Temple, the temple of the Moon God (Chandra). It is a calm and sacred place. You can take part in simple rituals and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Return to your hotel in Kumbakonam for an overnight stay. Enjoy a local South Indian dinner.

After breakfast, drive to Vaitheeswaran Koil, the temple of Mars (Chevvai). The temple is famous for healing and removing the bad effects of Mars. Pilgrims take holy dips in the temple tank. You can also buy special herbal powders sold here.

Next, head to Thiruvengadu, the temple of Mercury (Budhan). The temple has three ponds and five towers. The deity is known to bless people with wisdom and knowledge. Walk around the temple and learn its legends. Drive back to Kumbakonam and rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, leave for Kanjanoor, the temple of Venus (Sukran). This temple is known for bringing wealth and love. Worship the main deity, Shiva, believed to be Sukran’s energy source.

Later, visit Alangudi, the temple of Jupiter (Guru). The priest performs special pujas here for students, teachers, and spiritual seekers. The temple sits near a river and has a peaceful vibe.

After the darshan, return to Kumbakonam. In the evening, explore the local market and try traditional snacks. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Start your day early and travel to Thirunallar, the temple of Saturn (Sani). It is one of the most visited Navagraha temples. People believe Lord Sani gives justice and removes hardships. Take a dip in the holy tank before entering the temple.

Then head to Keezhperumpallam, the temple of Ketu, the shadow planet. The temple is small but very powerful. It helps people facing sudden troubles or health problems. Come back to Kumbakonam and rest at the hotel. You can also attend a local temple aarti in the evening. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Visit Thirunageswaram, the temple of Rahu, the shadow planet. The temple is known for milk abhishekam, where milk poured on the idol changes color. This ritual is believed to remove the negative effects of Rahu. After darshan, we drop you at the Kumbakonam railway station or your preferred location.
