Today, start your day with a visit to the famous Rumtek Monastery. Afterward, head to Tashi Viewpoint for a beautiful view of Kanchenjunga. Then, visit the Enchey Monastery, known for its peaceful surroundings. In the afternoon, explore the flower exhibition center, followed by a trip to the Himalayan Zoological Park, where you can see rare animals like the red panda. Return to your hotel in the evening.
This day is dedicated to the scenic beauty of Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Start early in the morning as you head towards Tsomgo Lake, a stunning high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. After spending some time here, drive to Baba Mandir, which is dedicated to a soldier who died during his duty. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the peace of the area before returning to Gangtok in the evening.
After breakfast, leave Gangtok and head to Lachen, a small village located in the northern part of Sikkim. The drive offers spectacular views of the mountains, rivers, and valleys. On arrival in Lachen, check into your hotel. The evening is free for you to relax and enjoy the fresh air of the hills.
Start early as you travel towards Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, located at an altitude of 17,800 feet. The crystal-clear waters of the lake against the snow-capped mountains make it a breathtaking sight. After spending some time at the lake, return to Lachen, and then continue your journey to Lachung, another beautiful hill station. Check into your hotel upon arrival.
Today, enjoy a visit to Yumthang Valley, also known as the "Valley of Flowers." The valley is famous for its beautiful meadows, hot springs, and the stunning Rhododendron trees. Take a walk in the valley, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. After spending time in Yumthang, return to Lachung. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Gangtok. Once you arrive, you can spend some time shopping or relaxing before your departure. Depending on your departure time, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
