Arrive at Bagdogra Airport, where your tour begins. After arrival, you will be transferred to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The drive takes about 4-5 hours and offers beautiful views of hills and rivers. Once you reach Gangtok, check into your hotel. You can relax and enjoy a pleasant evening in this charming town.
After breakfast, start your day by visiting the Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest and most significant Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Sikkim. Next, head to the Tashi Viewpoint for a beautiful view of Mount Kanchenjunga. Continue your sightseeing with a visit to the Ganesh Tok Temple, a small temple offering a great view of Gangtok. Later, visit the Enchey Monastery, known for its peaceful surroundings. In the evening, take a stroll along the M.G. Marg, the main street of Gangtok, to explore local markets and try some local cuisine.
Today, get ready for a memorable excursion. Early in the morning, drive to Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. This glacial lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is a popular spot for tourists. If you visit during the winter months, you may even witness the lake frozen. After spending time at the lake, head to the nearby Baba Mandir, dedicated to an Indian soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh, who is considered a hero by the local people. Return to Gangtok in the evening for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to Pelling, a town located about 5-6 hours from Gangtok. Pelling is known for its stunning views of the Kanchenjunga range. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax for the evening. If time permits, you can visit the Rimbi Waterfall or take a short walk to the nearby Khecheopalri Lake, which is believed to be sacred by locals.
On the fifth day, visit the famous Pemayangtse Monastery, which is one of the oldest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim. Afterward, head to the Rabdentse Ruins, the remnants of the old capital of Sikkim. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range. Next, visit the Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred lake surrounded by dense forest, and then explore the scenic Rimbi Waterfall. In the evening, return to your hotel in Pelling.
Start your day with an early morning drive towards Yumthang Valley. On the way, stop at Lachung, a beautiful mountain village. From Lachung, continue to Yumthang Valley, also known as the “Valley of Flowers.” This stunning valley is known for its colorful meadows and beautiful streams. Spend some time exploring the valley, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. After a day of sightseeing, return to Lachung for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive back to Gangtok, enjoying the scenic views on your way back. You will reach Gangtok by the afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy a free evening. Explore local markets, visit some more monasteries, or simply relax at your hotel.
