As you drive through winding mountain roads, you’ll get your first glimpses of the picturesque hills. Upon reaching Darjeeling, check into your hotel. You can spend the rest of the evening relaxing or take a stroll around the local market to enjoy the cool mountain air. The town is full of tea gardens, colonial buildings, and beautiful views.

Start your day early with a visit to the famous Tiger Hill, known for its stunning sunrise view over the Kanchenjunga and the eastern Himalayas. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast. Your next stop will be the Batasia Loop, a unique railway loop offering fantastic views of Darjeeling and the surrounding mountains. Then, visit the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Museum and enjoy a ride on the Darjeeling Toy Train, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.   In the afternoon, head to the Peace Pagoda and the Japanese Temple, where you can learn about Buddhism and enjoy serene surroundings. You’ll also have time to visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, which showcases the history of climbing expeditions.

On Day 3, after breakfast, we begin the drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The journey takes around 4 to 5 hours, and you will pass through beautiful hills and valleys. Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel. You can take a short rest and then explore the local area. The MG Road area in Gangtok is bustling with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Spend your evening shopping or enjoying the local delicacies.   If you feel like it, you can visit the Rumtek Monastery, located on the outskirts of Gangtok. It's a peaceful place where you can enjoy the views and experience the spiritual atmosphere.

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour in Gangtok. Your first stop will be the famous Tsomgo Lake, located about 40 km from the town. The lake, situated at an altitude of 12,400 feet, is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, making it a popular spot for tourists. After enjoying the lake, head to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a temple dedicated to a soldier who is believed to protect the region.   In the afternoon, explore the Rumtek Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Sikkim. The monastery has a rich history and provides beautiful views of the surrounding hills. You can also visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a research center dedicated to Tibetan studies, and the Enchey Monastery, which holds cultural and spiritual significance.   You’ll also have time to stroll through Gangtok’s local markets, where you can buy Sikkimese handicrafts, woolen garments, and Tibetan jewelry.

On the final day of your tour, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before packing your bags. Our driver will pick you up and drive you back to Siliguri.
