Experience an unforgettable journey through Northeast India with our meticulously crafted tour, starting in Guwahati and leading you to the renowned Kaziranga National Park, home to the majestic one-horned rhinoceros. After an optional early morning elephant ride and an exhilarating Jeep safari to witness diverse wildlife, you’ll travel to Shillong, the picturesque capital of Meghalaya, stopping at the serene Umiam Lake along the way. Explore Shillong’s rich culture with visits to the Cathedral, Elephant Falls, and the Don Bosco Museum before returning to Guwahati. Conclude your adventure with visits to the revered Kamakhya Temple and Assam State Museum, ensuring a perfect blend of wildlife, culture, and breathtaking landscapes throughout your journey.
Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway station. Meet our representative and proceed to Kaziranga National Park (240 km / 5 hrs), famous for the one-horned rhino. Check in at the lodge/resort. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, take a Jeep safari inside the central range of the park. You will see the famous one-horned rhino, elephants, deer, wild buffaloes, and various species of birds and other animals. Overnight at the lodge/resort.
Transfer to Shillong (7 hrs.) in Meghalaya. En route, visit Umiam Lake. Evening free to explore Shillong market. Check in at the hotel and overnight stay.
Visit the Cathedral, Elephant Falls, and the Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays). Transfer to Guwahati.
Departure Morning visit to Kamakhya Temple and Assam State Museum (time permitting). Drop off at the airport/railway station.
