Itinerary

Your journey starts from Delhi. You can take a train or a private car to Sawai Madhopur, the town closest to Ranthambore. The distance is about 400 km and takes around 7 to 8 hours by road. The train is a faster and more relaxing option.

Once you reach Ranthambore, check in at your jungle resort. Take some rest and enjoy your surroundings. In the evening, explore the area near your resort or relax with a cup of tea. Dinner will be served at the resort.

Wake up early for your first jungle safari. A jeep or canter will pick you up from the resort. Enjoy the thrill of entering the national park as the sun rises. Watch out for tigers, leopards, deer, sloth bears, and many birds.

After the morning safari, return to the resort for breakfast. Spend some time relaxing or taking pictures of the resort’s natural beauty. You can also visit the nearby village or talk to locals.

In the afternoon, go for your second safari. The evening time is great for spotting animals as they come out near waterholes. Capture the beauty of the jungle before you head back.

After breakfast, visit Ranthambore Fort. This ancient fort sits on a hill inside the park. It offers amazing views of the jungle below. Walk through the fort and see old temples, gates, and stone walls. The history and silence of the fort will take you back in time.

In the afternoon, go for a guided nature walk. Explore the forest outside the safari zones. Learn about local plants, small animals, and birds. This peaceful walk is perfect for nature lovers and photographers.

Spend the evening at your resort. Sit by the campfire or watch a wildlife documentary.

On your last day, enjoy one final safari. This is your last chance to spot a tiger, so keep your eyes open and camera ready. After the safari, return to the resort for breakfast.

Check out from the resort. Travel back to Delhi by train or car. You’ll reach Delhi by evening, with lots of great memories and amazing photos from the jungle.
