Start your journey early from Delhi in a private cab or Volvo bus. The drive to Shimla takes around 8 hours. On the way, enjoy the views of green hills, rivers, and small towns. Reach Shimla by evening and check in to your hotel. Rest for a while and later, take a walk on the famous Mall Road. You can shop for woollens, try local snacks, and enjoy the cool weather. Come back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, get ready for a full-day tour. First, visit Kufri, a small hill station just 16 km from Shimla. In Kufri, you can ride horses, enjoy snow sports (in winter), and visit the Himalayan Nature Park. Then, head back to Shimla and visit the Ridge, Jakhu Temple, Christ Church, and Lakkar Bazaar. In the evening, return to the hotel and relax.
After an early breakfast, check out and start your drive to Manali. The road passes through Kullu Valley and offers great views of rivers and hills. On the way, stop at Pandoh Dam and the local Kullu market where you can buy woollen clothes and dry fruits. You can also try river rafting in the Beas River (at your own cost). Reach Manali in the evening. Check in to your hotel and rest.
After breakfast, visit Solang Valley. It’s famous for adventure sports like paragliding, ziplining, skiing (in winter), and ATV rides. Enjoy the activities or relax in the valley with snow-capped mountains all around. Then, return to Manali for a local tour. Visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Club House, and Tibetan Monastery. Walk around Mall Road and try local momos and tea. Come back to the hotel in the evening.
After breakfast, check out and leave for Kasol. It’s a peaceful village in Parvati Valley. On the way, stop at Manikaran Sahib, a famous Gurudwara known for its hot springs. Take a dip in the hot water and have langar (free meal) served at the Gurudwara. Reach Kasol by evening. Enjoy a riverside walk, explore local cafes, and relax in the natural beauty of the valley.
Have an early breakfast and check out from your hotel. Start your journey back to Delhi. Enjoy the views of the hills one last time as you say goodbye to Himachal. Reach Delhi by late evening with lots of memories.
